BioNeutral Group, Inc. is a specialty life science company that has developed two proprietary chemistry-based product platforms that are designed to be environmentally friendly and potentially address a broad array of disinfecting, cleaning, antimicrobial and bio-neutralizing applications. The company plans to develop and register formulations that can be used as a liquid, wet wipe, spray, mist/fog or foam/froth and for air, surface and water applications.  The exceptional properties of BioNeutral’s product platform result from the manner in which common chemical components are assembled and the compounds that result, providing the action of time-tested active ingredients in formulations intended to be effective against persistent harmful microbes and in the face of difficult cleaning requirements.  

Ygiene™ is a patent pending antimicrobial consisting of a family of germicidal and sporicidal formulations (sterilants) BioNeutral designed to be effective on surfaces, with potential future developments relating to skin and fabric applications. Company-sponsored testing by independent laboratories has shown that Ygiene™ can sterilize hard surfaces, eliminating harmful microorganisms tested, within minutes[1]. Company testing shows that water-based YgieneTM leaves no toxic residue and is non-corrosive[2]. The Ygiene™ family of products is planned to include sanitizers, disinfectants and sterilants that BioNeutral plans to develop in differing grades to address consumer, hospital, industrial and military/homeland security uses. None of these Ygiene™ formulations are yet commercially available or registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

The exceptional properties of Ygiene™ are a result of the manner in which the chemical components are assembled and the resulting chemistry exhibited by these formulations.

This product platform is designed to neutralize toxic and noxious gases and liquids, as well as dissolve or break down substances that stain or mar surfaces and fabrics.  Ogiene™ is water-based and environmentally friendly, leaving no harmful residue.  The Ogiene™ family of products consists of a variety of multi-purpose cleaners, odor removers and paint removers.  The products neutralize difficult odors without leaving any scent of their own, truly “neutralizing” the chemicals that can cause odors, both natural and made-made.  Ogiene™ is not designed as an anti-microbial compound, and thus is not subject to registration by regulatory agencies prior to sale. Ogiene™ products have been very successful in test markets and are available on the private commercial market through BioNeutral for private label production.


[1] Within 2 minutes viruses such as H1N1, antibiotic resistant bacteria such as MRSA, fungus such as trichophyton mentagrophytes and mold spores such as Aspergillus niger are eliminated as demonstrated by independent lab tests.
